Pros:
Warmer evening weather for late night astronomical viewing.
Perseids meteor shower.
Cons:
Shorter evenings for astronomical viewing.
Fewer fun things to look at in the sky in the Summer as opposed to the Winter.
Tilt of the Earth closer to the Sun which eventually causes more pollination which causes me great discomfort.
